Ever Dream of living in the Willo

Now here is your chance!! 239,500 ...

Was heading down to the Farmers Market this morning and thought I would STOP by and view this New Listing that just came on the market.. This home is well worth the money.... Just to live in the Willow.. To be Nestled in the very heart of urban Phoenix. I love this neighborhood.. and the lot is huge.

SF: 1,104 239,500 ... Charming home located in the Willo Historic District! 2 bedrooms/1 bath home has been updated somewhat and shows great! Wood floors, master bedroom has a sitting room, separate exit for 2nd bedroom could be an office. To my surprise there was basement. The basement was at least a 9' x 12' it would make a great canning cellar, working fire place and more! This is a find...

If you are a fan like me , or just interested in homes from the 1920’s through 1940’s, then the Willo is for you. The Willo has a wide variety of architectural styles, all nestled in the wonderful area we call the Willo Historic District of Phoenix. A hundred years ago, this was farm land on the outskirts of town, Then in the early 1920’s, a few Bungalow style homes were built, and Willo became a suburb.

Cottage Living Magazine profiled Willo as one of the top ten cottage communities in the United States. More info on Willo Neighborhood News or Map of the Willo The Phoenix Historic Preservation Commission(HPC) implements the responsibilities of the city Historic Preservation Ordinance. There are many Financial Benefits to owning a home in a Historic District which include grants from the city to help with exterior rehabilitation as well as property tax reductions. Check out my web-site or contact Linda for more historic neighborhood info or to VIEW this home or any other home.
